Laager Sparkling Rooibos Lemonade (serves 4)

They’re serving up this delightfully zesty Sparkling Rooibos Lemonade recipe this Valentine’s Day.

  1. In a jar pitcher, mix the cooled tea and tonic together and add the lemon cordial. Mix well.
  2. In tumbler glasses, add frozen raspberries (and ice if you prefer).
  3. Pour in the sparkling tea mix and garnish with lemon. Enjoy chilled.

Laager Sparkling Orange Rooibos Mocktail (serves 2) [pictured]

  1. Brew your Laager Pure Rooibos Tea bags in 400ml boiling water. Allow to cool to room temperature before removing the tea bags.
  2. Add the juice of two oranges and the honey and stir well.
  3. Split into two glasses filled with ice, and top with sparkling water and a slice of fresh orange.

Laager Cranberry Cherry Rooibos Mocktail (serves 2)

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup halved cherries
  • 2 to 3 Laager Cranberry & Wild Cherry Flavoured Rooibos teabags
  • Cranberry-flavoured soda (Fitch and Leeds Cheeky Cranberry was used in this recipe)
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate rubies
  • Ice cubes
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish

For the cherry syrup:

  1. Bring the water and sugar to the boil until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add cherries and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside.

For the tea mix:

  1. Steep the teabags in 400ml boiling water for roughly 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, remove the tea bags and set aside.

To assemble:

Repeat for the second glass.

Using a tall glass, paint a strip on the outside with maple syrup and top with crushed Himalayan salt and dried rose petals (this step is optional).

Add 1/4 cup cherry syrup, topped with crushed ice and pomegranate rubies.

Add the tea mix and top with cranberry-flavoured soda.

Garnish with glitter-dipped Maraschino cherries and serve cold.
