In line with the global release, Ster-Kinekor will be screening the acclaimed faith-based drama, The Chosen: Last Supper – Part One.
The first two episodes of Season 5 will play back-to-back from 10 to 13 April, with one screening per day at select cinema sites.

In The Chosen: Last Supper, the people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while his disciples anticipate his crowning. But instead of confronting Rome, he turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival when he finds His Father’s house has been turned from a place of prayer into a corrupt market. With their power threatened, the country’s religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus’ last.
Shot in a beautiful cinematic format, The Chosen: Last Supper brings the most pivotal week in Christian history to cinema audiences in this special theatrical release.
The Chosen: Last Supper – Part One will be screened at the following Ster-Kinekor cinemas from 10 to 13 April: Cresta and Rosebank Nouveau in Johannesburg; Brooklyn in Tshwane; Vaal in Vanderbijlpark; Gateway in Umhlanga; Baywest in Gqeberha; Garden Route in George; and Tygervalley, Blue Route and V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
