“Gravity is optional, but smiles come standard” – that’s the word from be.UP Park co-founder Carl Singleton, who has just opened their fourth branch in Cresta Shopping Centre.
be.UP Cresta is a vibrant indoor activity centre where children of all ages can engage in healthy physical movement regardless of weather conditions, making it a perfect year-round entertainment option for families across Gauteng.
Activities include a multilevel 3D maze (filled with slides, roller balls, ramps, swings), trampolines and tumbler tracks, interactive football and a rope bridge. There are games such as the basketball-based Battle Baskets, a reflex testing Reaction High 9s, and an airbag freefall where participants experience the rush of free-falling from 1.6 metres high!
“We’re creating fun memories one leap, kick, and game at a time,” says Singleton. “Parents are looking for alternatives to screen time, and we offer exactly that – a place for active, wholesome fun.”
The park caters to children of all ages. Little Town offers a secure soft-play area for little ones under 4 years.
Parents and guardians of older children can enjoy a coffee or light bite at the on-site café or run errands while the kids are supervised.
Beyond daily fun, the venue offers comprehensive birthday party and school field-trip packages.
“We’ve designed our space to be versatile,” explains Singleton. “Whether it’s a birthday party, school outing or family day out, our goal is to create an environment where shared laughter and active play become the foundation for lasting memories.”
With trained staff ensuring safety throughout the facility, be.UP Cresta aims to become the go-to destination for families seeking active entertainment in Johannesburg.
